The Rainbow Cattle Company
has now changed hands. The new owners are all locals [thank the goddess!].
Do not worry. Outside a few changes, The Rainbow is still the same! There
was going away party for Richard and Mario on August 24. (Do not forget that
Richard and Mario still own The Metro in the City.) The place was packed with
locals and well-wishers. Wonderful food and great fun was enjoyed by
all. There are photos of the party in Wanda's photo album.
The Rainbow will be adding
some new events and the reinstitution of some other favorites. On Saturday,
September 6, there will be a meet and greet barbecue. Come by and meet the
new owners. This date will also mark the beginning of "Saturday Margarita
Madness." Monday - Friday: Happy Hour from 4:00-8:00. Coming soon: the
return of the famous "Wednesday Hump Night Dinners." Also coming soon: The
Rainbow Pool League on Thursday nights. Starting September 7, "Sunday Bull
Bash" : from 4:00-9:00 = $1.50 Domestics and $2.00 shots! A major upcoming
event: the 25th Anniversary of The Rainbow [date to be announced].
Be sure to check out the
TOTALLY new Russian River Eagle! What a complete transformation! You will
not recognize it!
It looks GREAT!!!!! Sandy
"Mama" Reinhardt was amazed by the new look of the Eagle when she was visiting
this Labor Day weekend! Mama "held court" in the new back bar area....along
with several members of Mama's Family including Wanda, T. Jay and me. And,
the infamous Ray Tilton "Mama's Husband" was bartending. Ray has now moved
back to the River. Welcome back Ray!
Fifes celebrated it's Second
Anniversary (with Michael Clark as owner) this last Thursday. Great crowd!
Many locals attended. And the famous Bob and Marsha St. Clair were there to
celebrate! A few pictures are in Wanda's Photo Album.
The Russian River Resort
was VERY busy this Labor Day weekend. Mama was "pretty by the pool" as were
Scot and Glen, Daddy Mike, Dan Alexander among just a few. Congratulations to
Matt and Jeanna! Mama pinned both of them and we welcomed them into Mama's
Family. The famous Pine Sol Lady, Diane Amos had the Comedy Night crowd in
laughter this last Saturday night (see picture below) .
The hilarious Carla Clayy will be entertaining next Saturday night (September
6)! For further information go to:

Well, that is all I can think
of for now. Wanda is after me to get this column in. So, if I left
something out, sorry!
