Military Weekend was a great success!  Many thanks are in order to the staff(s) of The Rainbow Cattle Company, Russian River Resort, The River Eagle and  Xen Resort for making everyone feel so welcome (and happy). The weekend was so damn well produced!  Roger and David (Gotham) worked their asses off.  Roger and David accomplished the task with pure class.  The people that helped Roger and David are too numerous to list.  Just a few:  T. Jay Cain (of course), Glen and Scot, Paul and Arnie, The Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Tony, Lenny, Rod Wood, Ray Tilton's butt (LOL),  Sandy "Mama" Reinhardt and Mama's Family, Richie Chameroy (Mr. International Bootblack 2003), Bob Young, Jeff Dawson, Jake, Dana, Rocky, Brian and Lee, Dick (Up the River) Eric, etc. etc. If I left a bunch of people out, you know who you are (I hope) !   Congratulations to the new Mr. Northern California LeatherSIR 2003:  Mr. Brian Williams, Leatherboy 2003:  Mr. Arturo Crespo.

Re:  Lazy Bear Week 2003 - Amount raised - $100,000 +

The Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence had a bake sale this last weekend.  The sale took place in front of Russian River Floral.  As usual, The RR Sisters were up to the usual Sister's antics.  Sr. Dawna, Sr. Ida, Sr. Barbi, and Sr. Cheesecake were a HOOT!  (Just look at the photos).  The proceeds of the bake sale went to the favorite charities of the RR Sisters.  Please check the RR Sisters website for information regarding their next bingo event:  www.rrsisters.org

John Johnson told me about Donald Turner's  latest adventure (so to speak).  Donald's cell phone is no longer working.  Hum, I wonder why.  The cell phone drowned.  Donald was about to sit on the porcelain pot  a couple of weeks ago.  Well, I think you can imagine what happened.  No further comment is necessary.  LMAO

Happy Birthday to Cheryl Miller!  We are glad you are not moving to Arizona!  You belong here at the Russian River with us!  Also, Happy Birthday to the following people:  Donovan, Stuart Peot and Bob Young!

Please be sure to read the memorial and tribute for Mr. Christopher Smith that is on this site.  Mama and all of Mama's Family [www.mamasfamily.org] and Friends are grieving for the loss of such a special man.  Our hearts and love go out to Tony Koester and to Christopher's family.
